Does you 1941 use dual filament bulbs in the tail lights ?  "Running" light plus stop light ?
Or is it just a "running" light and there is a single, center mounted stop-only light ?  If it is like the latter,
you can swap out the bulb housing (and bulbs) for dual filament bulbs and wire in turn signals.  You will
also have to do this same thing to your front parking lights to have front turn signals.
