At 50 miles per hour the car may be trying to tell you to slow down.  ;)

All kidding aside there are usually identifiers of the carb model stamped on the fin at top of carb bowl inlet or on the back of the bowl .
For instance my carb only has a stamp on the back of the bowl of my 34 Plymouth PE carb 0-214 which is the OEM carb but there apparently were any number of carbs that are OEM replacements for the carter BB1 series due to poor running conditions and attempts to improve them.

Such is my limited knowledge and perhaps Tod Fitch the 33 plymouth guru will chime in.

Hi all......struggling with carb stumbling and balking at about 50 mph.  My 33 PD sedan has PF on the engine so I assume it was swapped for a 34 long ago.  No Tag on carb. Have heard that the Power valve is a problem if it sticks or vacuum blocked.   If this persists can i put another year carb on this base as I cant tell the Model?
