Get a copy of the CLYMER repair manual and follow the directions spelled out in it. It is also available from Chrysler in the MoPar BRAKE Parts manual dated 1959.

I have used this method (CLYMER)  and compared the readings with both the MT-19 and C-3492  (also known as the AMMCO 1750) and the CLYMER method puts the brake shoe right were both these tools do.....works just as well.  So save yourself some money as these are now going for around $400.00 on eBay
