Starting on my 39 truck

I was able to purchase a complete body for a Plymouth truck for less than the price of a bed thanks for the info 8)

Rick, the '39-'47 Dodge, Plymouth & Fargo same bed for PT-81. I am somewhat sure the earlier PU bed (before '39) was slightly more narrow, completely different fenders. All the parts new if you want to go that route-steel beds (wooden floor), fiberglass fenders, hardware etc..

I have started on my 39 model PT 81 but I need one thing a bed . I am looking for one close to IL. Did Dodge use the same bed and for how long?Thanks Rick 309-826-9702
