Flange is out- a timing gear puller works the best-
now to remove the old seal and replace-

I disassembled the u Joint at the rear diff in my attempt to rescue the pinion seal that is leaking bad at the read end. The bracket that has 4 bolt holes in it is Pressed-? into the rear end?
In a previous question- I asked how to remove this bracket-?? I am guessing that I need a gear puller-??I need this out so I can put in a new seal. I don't want to beat it out...am I on the correct track here-?? Thanks.Dennis
