I am planning on Hershey's this coming year, I would be proud to "Man" the booth for a few hours, might even chip in on the cost....

Glenn,

If you are going to be at Hershey on Friday I would like to meet up and say hello in person.  Also I have not been on line in awhile is the POC sponsering a booth this year.?   I know there was some talk about doing so a while back.  Anything new happen ?

I plan to travel from Alaska to attend the Hershey spectacle this year; finally!  I too would be pleased to spend some time in a POC booth.  It would be interesting & helpful to have a roster of POC attendees & vendors ahead of the meet.  I plan to order a POC hat to ID myself (and one of those nifty new key fobs).

Now all we need is good weather.

The going rate for a spot at Hershey is $80. That is good for wed to sat. For folks who don't know Hershey ends on sat. I think u can start setting up Tuesday.

NYDAK,
What is the current going rate for a single spot at Hershey? Now that everything is on blacktop did the prices go up? Are there prices according to what fiels you set-up in? Is one able to set-up the entire week after Fall Carlisle?
Simply curious.

That is not a bad idea but Hershey is so big be hard to find anyone. Seems to me the club can afford a couple spaces to use and a home base every year.

Perhaps you could encourage the members that you kow there to Identify themselves with a card or Placard showing the POC logo (if the club would deign its use that way as not an infringment of any copywrite rule).  That way other attendees could intro themselves as members.  Might also make it easier to fing those vendors with MOPAR PARTS.

I have a spot there also and would be willing to man a booth for a few hours for the club.

You would be suprised to know of how many members already own spots at Hershey. It is kinda strange though, none or few of them frequent this site. Many of the folks I know simply do not have the time, or the legs to do much walking it seems. I kind of have a route to follow to say my "hellos" and grab a cool bottle of water. Occasionally, even a stool for a moment or two, even though it is hard to get out of once your in it!
It would be an interesting pole to see how many Members acually attend the Meet though. Once that is based, time slots would need filled to "Man the spot".
I would be game for a few hours.

Be nice if the club had a booth at Hershey every year. The cost is low $80 a space and it would be nice to have Plymouth gathering place there. Get to meet members from other location etc. Any one else agree with me?
