My car had the running board delete option, and has the stainless steel mouldings along the rocker panels.  I need both of them, I was only able to find the driver's side stainless steel moulding which Dave at Fat Fendered Relics had.  Another POC member in Georgia gave me the one I use on the Passenger side.  The passenger side one isn't correct, but I can only see one side of the car at a time and it runs and drives just great as she is

Thanks. If only an experienced eye can tell the difference, then it really doesn't matter. I will pursue getting another piece. This forum is great for solutions like these.

You are lucky to find a molding. Those buggers are much sot after, but not too easy to come across. They are side specific, but that is not written in stone either. One side can be used for either, and only the most knowledgeable eye could tell this. The right side is next to impossible to locate in ANY condition. The way that the ends are folded determines the side. I have seen a lot of home made stainless moldings used. Some are quite nice, others, well...

I do currently have a single NOS molding in stock. Not even close to cheap, but if Dave has nothing used, and you are interested in a NOS purchase, drop me a P.M. and we can go from there. Best to you on your search! That is half the fun of the old Plymouth's!

Try Dave at Fat Fendered Relics, he may have your moulding you need.

I origonally got my car as a basket case with no running board stainless. I managed to purchase one piece but are they side specific? How can I tell? Also, once I figure out which side this one goes on, is there a source to find the other one? Appreciate any help you can give.
