I have "Bedford Famous Coach" diamond tread tires on my 1933 (17 inch tire size). They are probably 15 years old and have got about 10,000 miles on them (all that mileage in the last 5 or 6 years, the first 10 years of their life they simply allowed me to move the chassis around the garage). So far so good with them.
"We (Kelsey) offer the Bedford brand in a 3? WW, 4 ply polyester construction, diamond tread design at $95.00.  Should you need tubes they are $12.00.  This tread design is very similar to the Goodyear.  I don?t have them photographed on the internet.  Please look up the Lucas advertisement in Hemmings.  They picture the Bedford diamond tread tire, albeit a different size.  The only difference is that the smaller 475 will not have the center running rib.  The diamonds will come together which is the only difference."
