I agree with Chet. We should have a plan banners etc and market the club. Talk about the activities pics from tours and shows . Regions available all over the country with contacts. Just a few ideas Dan K

Again help is needed to be able to pull this off so let's hear back from members who wish to help out.

Hi Nick,  Just some thoughts.

If you are going to spend money to setup at Hershey you should have a marketing strategy.  Besides brand recognition you would want to capture at least enough new memberships to pay for the expense of being there in the first place.  If you have plans for next year I am in Northern Virginia and would be willing to help out but unless we have a targeted plan for being there in the first place, it might just be an expensive way for a few people to meet up.  Please don?t take any offence to my comments just trying to set some agenda.  It?s nice to see some club business being discussed on this forum.   Maybe it will start a trend for some new evolvement.

I sure can help man the booth for a few hours. I think it is good for the club to be there every year.

I apologize for not having a Plymouth Owners Club presence at the Hershey Swap Meet & Car Show this year. It has been a very hectic year and I wasn't able to make the necessary arrangements.
I will definitely take the steps necessary so the Plymouth Owners Club will be at Hershey in 2013 and also for subsequent years.
One item that needs to be done early next year is to petition for one or two spaces at Hershey so we can have an on-going presence.
We will purchase tables, chairs, some type of frame work for our National Banner and whatever else might be needed to let everyone know who we are and to stop on by and say hello.
I will need the support of several nearby regions that might be able to store this equipment so we can easily set it up each year.
Also, volunteers will be needed to help "man" the Plymouth Owners Club presence, maybe for an hour or two on a specified day. If the support is there I can visualize members stopping by to chat and possibly even having lunch with the group on Thursday, Friday and maybe even Saturday.
Again help is needed to be able to pull this off so let's hear back from members who wish to help out.

Nick can't make it this year and I don't know at this time if there is anyone else that is going to set it up......I'll make some enquiries and get back on the board.
