More technical informations needed for my 1971 Plymouth Fury coup

You might also try eBay as there are several dealers on there that sell original Brochures and Catalogs for Automobiles.  Since I too collect "old" cars,  I try to buy as much original print material as I can to learn about my vehicles.  They come in very handy when trying to figure out how something should look, or what it should be.   ;)

According to a 1971 Plymouth Brochure, a 383 V-8 w/ 2bbl carb has 275 Horsepower while the same engine with a 4 bbl carb has 300 Horsepower.  :)

Thanks but my Plymouth engine is a 360 CI and not a 383: do they have the same horsepower?

Thermostat:

  Engine should operate not too cool. I use the 180 F thermostat (82 C).

The often heard classification of 195 F for "Alaska" and 160 F for "Sahara" doesen?t seem logical:
Your engine should operate at the same temperature in north pole or desert.

Hi guys!
Like I was saying in the first post in the general discussion area, in Italy where I live there are some difficulties to find specific technics information about our Plymouths. So here I list some question to know more about my car; thank you in advance for your friendly help.
(I repeat for those who have not read the other post, that I own a Plymouth Fury coup? from 1971 with a 360 CI V8; it's a matching numbers car)

1. First thing I want to know: how can I open the rear windows? There is no handle there: are they probably fixed and is not possible to open in this model?
2. Second thing: when you start your Plymouth, you press down some times the accellerator or it starts instantly? I know there is the automatic choke and It's necessary to push the accelerator to start when you first drive the car or it's cold.
3. Third thing: has your airconditioning vent only three fan setting right? But, why the third is so slow?
4. Fourth thing: do you know how many HP my 360 CI engine produces? Here italian translated manuals say between 200 and 220 HP.
5. Fifth: what kind of thermostat does my Fury use? I know there are two or three different models: one for 160 F degree, one for 180 and one for 195 F degree. Which one is correct? I know that are a lot of different thermostat with different codes: which one does fit?
6. Sixth and last one: how many gallons does the fuel tank hold in the 1971 Plymouth Fury coup? with 360 CI engine?
