My GPS unit

Thanks Notdavid, That is what I use in the 1929 Coupe. Thought I would get a bit more "modern" with this "new" car, the 1939. I am going to try one of the other choices that have been posted, and see what happens.
And thanks for the info on the AACA's meet. I just might go this year.

I have a portable "jump box" (basically a 12v battery in a plastic case with jumper cables built in) that has receptacles for two cigarette lighter style chargers on board. Added benefit is it can be used to jump the car in a pinch.

Thanks Chet, I"ll check out both ways, see which fits in the 39 and the 29 the best. I enjoy driving the 29 around each summer, and I think I'm going to have a good time with the 39 also, maybe take longer drives with the more modern vehicle. lol
I am getting close to taking the 39 out of the garage for the first time, hopefully by this weekend. The weather here has been marvelous this past week, sure was tempted to get the 29 out yesterday. lol

Glenn, you can buy a converter that converts 6vdc positive ground to 12 vdc negative ground for about $100.00. I have one in my 48 Plymouth that is wired to the cigeratte lighter to power the cell or gps.
