I contacted the Chrysler Historical Museum Archives via email I obtained from their website and this was their response in acquiring  Build Records for my Plymouth, or any Plymouth/Dodge/Desoto/Chrysler/Hudson/Nash/Rambler/Willys-Overland car 1930-1967...

There was no price given on the recording, when and if they contact me, if the price is higher than the 45 dollars that was mentioned in Tod's site I'll most likely still pay it

I called them about an hour or so ago, I got a recording saying they no longer take orders over the phone, but gave instructions, so I emailed them asking for a build sheet for my coupe.  I did give them the serial number and asked them to call me when ready and I will pay for it

The serial number range is for all cars with that engineering code built in that factory. So it does not break down by coupe vs 2 door sedan vs 4 door sedan, etc.

From you numbers, it looks like your car was built about 15% of the way through the model year. Or just under 2 months assuming they ran the production line at a constant rate during the year. If you assume they started production for the model year on October 1st then it is possible your car was built in the November/December time frame.

If you order the build card from Chrysler Historical it will have the actual build day on it.

I used your search with my car number, I came up with the 35,660 car built out of 239,538.  My question being that my car is a P-10 business coupe, do the numbers reflect that?

I would imagine that it was built in late Fall of 1939
