I was able to get parts to rebuild the carb on my 55 Plymouth at Nappa. You have to find someone that is willing to look the parts up in an old parts book. They are not listed in their computer system.

What is wrong with the float???  If its got a pin hole leak or something it can be soldered to plug it.

George Asche in Pa has lots of B&B  parts 814 354 362.  Be for warned a short conversation with George is about 45 minutes.

George knows just about everything there is to know about MOPAR Flatheads and Carter Carbs.  He is located in Venus, PA, which is near Oil City.

I have a Carter 1 BB one barrel carburetor on my 1948 Plymouth and I need a float for it.
Does anyone know where I can obtain a float and other carburetor parts?
Thank you.
