1948 Traveler for Sale

I just listed my Traveler on Ebay, item no. 220818530077.

This car is still for sale and I just had the 1942 Plymouth delivered so I need to get rid of it quick.  I can also now report that the engine is free and all the pistons and valves move up and down.  I can turn it over by hand by wrapping a strap around the pulley and hauling on the strap.

Attached is a picture of the Plymouth, which should be a much better project car for me.

I can't turn it over by hand.  I've not yet tried to put a socket on the end of the crankshaft.  I pulled the head and it looks like one of the valves is stuck.  I think some water infiltrated through a rusty spark plug and dripped on that valve.  To my novice eyes, the pistons and cylinders looked really good.  I was told there are very few miles (a lot of years though) on a complete rebuild.  I don't detect a ridge at the top of the cylinders which I understand is usually there when the engine has a lot of miles.

Thanks for the question.  I'm anxious to sell this because I bought a 1942 Plymouth and can't bring it home until this is sold.

I am asking $1,900.

This car is pretty rough but nearly complete, original, and rare. Rolls but does not run. More details and pictures upon request. (Yes, I do have the radio, Mopar Model 802)
