while best weather and empty three lane Autobahn we once tried 130 mph south of N?rnberg.
was perfect, but we don?t need to try again.

AMG tuned engines are legend here in Germany! Mercedes bought this independent enterprise a couple of years ago
to get the know how and label.

Go, .. You'll want to be careful with the Mercedes CLK... I bought my wife an '04 CLK 430 AMG convertible in '06 for our fifth anniversary.. The CLK 430 is the V8 version and the AMG package makes it a little more staple on the highway at higher speeds. A person could get in a lot of trouble with the law. We don't have Autobahns.
I love your pictures and stories about your travels around Germany/Europe in your Plymouth, brings back fond memories of spring time in Germany when everything is awash with the colors of all the flowers, etc. in bloom.....Bill

Saturday and nicest weather - that was Plymouth at its best:
  in the morning, a trip to the used car dealer in Essen City, 50 mls round trip.
My lovely wife found a 31 000 mls / 5 year old convertible Mercedes CLK for the summer
(she is a girl: no matter which engine, but parking sensors, power top and blue color and gray Lether interior).
keeping her same C- Class station wagon for the winter and skiing baggage. She gets the CLK after  our June PLY holidays in Austria.
Life is good - nothing sexier than the own intelligent and successful wife - not an unwilling  New York hotel?s employee -- we are NOT french...

  In the afternoon a 100 mls round trip to M?nchengladbach. Claudia (lawyer) had to inspect a client?s property because of a litigation.
Using only narrow secondary streets, theer were several objects to make nice Ply shots, but dangerous to stop (a beautiful "Hollander" windmill)
no chance to get near (castle "Schloss Wickrath") or a former brewery complex ( no angle to get Ply plus building).

So I entered a small street to get this shot of 2 of the buildings of a former Convent, now used for city administration puposes and police.
