Thanks for posting your vacation photos.  I always enjoy seeing what other parts of the world look like, especially with old cars!  I have to smile at the thought of your Plymouth getting so much attention wherever you go.

Mounts are 15 years old, I believe, and with all the oil spilling over them...
Pin, silents and alignment are firsts on the list for sure.
The main problem of fixing was getting the tools off behind the spare wheel
without having to unload all the luggage...

My fan (ventilator) is very close to my radiator. In fact I would need to remove the radiator to get a wrench on any of the fan nuts. If I have to brake hard (emergency stop) the fan will contact the fan sounds like tinkling of thin borken glass.  I suspect that the rear motor mounts have become a bit soft and mushy over the years and allow the engine to tilt a bit under heavy deceleration.  But I would also check for any deformation of sheet metal in the radiaotr surround that might heve been missed during the body repair.

My problem is that I put one or two extra spacers between the water pump and the fan as I had parts for two engines.  I only have about 1/8 inch between the fan and the radiator.  Probably with the spacers out, there would be no contact under hard braking, but it doesn't bother during normal driving so I have no motivation to drain the coolant, remove the radiator and address it by removing the spacer/s.

Looks like you had a fun trip.  In the US you would never be allowed to remain in your autos wile the train was moving.  The insurance companies wouldn;t allow it both the car insurance and the trains insurance, and the lawyers would have a field say should any thing untoward happen.

1)This Mercedes 220 came from Z?rich, Switzerland, 680 mls. Maybe he took the auto train from L?rrach/Basel to Hamburg.
See typical Sylt stone walls
2) Always an attraction ? in front of our hotel
3 + 4) Keitum ? other than Westerland ? was able to keep the original building style over the boom 60ies. Stone wall again.

Sylt is very chic too!
1) The Bentley is our Hotel?s car, but the Plymouth clearly attracts more attention!
Alas, city of Westerland has lots of ugly 60ties building-sins too.
2) The shop in Kampen is the branch of Rome / Italy?s most famous jeweler Bulgari?s .
3) Lots of Oldtimers visit in summer: Saw  Olds 1958, Thunderbird 1955, and lots of european oldies.
This Borgward is a jewel, saw it in 2008 too.
4) The very rare and marvellous NSU Prinz Spider in perfect, original conditions made 600 mls from Stuttgart , the driver is a Mercedes engineer and a NSU collector. Plymouth waited next to the Borgward for better weather, which we had nearly the whole time?

You made our nice 2 Weeks holidays on 20 mls long Island Sylt possible!
We just came back.

Modern digital Black Berry was not able to get  Internet or e-mail connection, even with hotline help!

So I?m late with contacts -anyhow , thanks to spare parts from David , Neil  and Andy, my heavy accident darnages had been fixed in time to take the Plymouth.

Old Ply mechanics instead worked reliably as usual (not like BlackBerry), I once had trouble while strongly braking: the ventilator did hit the radiator and got deformed. Terrible noise! The misalignment may still have been a result from the accident.

1) Good Luck - no leakage.Fixing was easy, ? after fixing again, because
2)  it now did hit the generator pulley?
3) The Shuttle double deck train leaves Nieb?ll, ~400 mls from D?sseldorf,  every 30 minutes, 25 mls over the dam

to our destination Westerland. Making 55 mph, passengers stay in their cars and enjoy the first sight of the North Sea.
4) The dunes is what this island is loved for. Remembers Martha?s Vineyard.
