The bed wood was painted black.  Not as pretty but these things were made for work....

Hi, Jim Cooper may be the guy to talk to. He has a "File" on the bed board dimentions (he also mentions red oak). 39-47 Dodge Trucks site. Let me know if you find out as I will be interested in the same for my PT-105. Richie

What is the current "standard or policy" for the floor bed for judging. Can the floor bed be finished and polished oak with polished metal strips or must the bed be rough cut wood such as ash and if so, is it to be painted? What color. I have read the Manual in the Research Section and I believe it is silent on this question.? Thanks for any input.
