30U manifold ferrules

My 30U is missing one ferrule of the four shown in the parts book manifold assembly.  I think a ferrule is the ring that goes between the manifold and the block on the 4-cylinder engine.  I think I saw these things on e-bay last year but did not know I would need one or what they were.  Chevy had the same type of thing in the thirties.  Can anyone supply information about these?
