The Suburban (and the other models for this year)  has horiz.molding strips attached to the front and rear fenders above the wheel wells. Were they originally chrome plated or polished stainless steel?
The car is a friend's and is not available locally to physically see them. Are replacements being reproduced?

Can you get a length of the rear fender spears for the suburban?  I have a NOS rear trim that is 51" long that I'd like to sell.  I bought it for my '50 four door, but it is longer than the four door version.  Might fit the wagon...  The left and right rear fender trims are the same for 1950.  Front's are not interchangable left and right, but are the same for all 1950 models.

The front fender stainless steel spears are the same on all models of 1950 Plymouths.  They should be easier to find, perhaps on eBay from time to time.  The rear spears are shorter and would be only found on the Suburban and perhaps on the business coupe ( I cannot verify that in the parts manual).  They will be more difficult to locate.  If you find them, in any condition, grab them up, most good restorers can straighten some real ugly trim.
