GWR, I also need a trunk latch and the apparatus that holds the trunk lid open.  Thanks for the spoke information I would rather be with in driving distance of my parts, Oregon is much closer to me (california) than the east coast.  I also need a brake fluid reservoir and have a spare block and transmission but happy to have them.  Jim

Jim, My 30U Business coupe has cream colored spokes to match the cream colored striping.

As far as spokes, or having your redone contact Jim Kanne, 1805 SW Pattulo Way, West Linn, OR 97068. Ph# 503-638-5275. He has the jigs for virtually every spoke made, and I think he will do the restoration for you. I know he had the special press. Not sure of costs, but someone to talk with.

PS. If you have some extra parts i need the Trunk latch mechanism for my Business Coupe.

Thanks for the information and pictures.  I have two 30U coupes.  Each have different size spokes.  One set is very loose and will need new spokes before it is driven (not soon).  Is there a standard diminsion for spokes?  Thanks, jim

Here is apicture of a wheel I belive to be origanl. Looks like it was painted the same clor as the car.

Surprised onebody has replied. My 30U has painted (cream colored) spokes with black metal. Showed pictures to some at the Grand National and they found other things that needed addressed, but no mention about wheels.

I'm going to try to post some pics of my 30, maybe you cold do the same.

I hope to replace my wooden spokes soon.  To keep the car original.  Should they be black or is natural acceptable to the club.  Also the metal is now silver, should it be black? 
Are there other club alternatives.  Thanks, Jim
