I can help you with an original cowl vent knob, but the head light knob is currently out of stock.
The printed "Ventolater" (sp) knob, and the smooth, rather sgg shaped knobs are both available.

A number of years ago I got new knobs for my 1940 Plymouth from George Shumway in Washington state, but I honestly don't think he reproduces them anymore, but if you email me, i will give you his phone number so you can check with him.

Mechanical parts are rather easy to get, although over the past 20 years, they are getting harder to find.  Wheel cylinders are getting scarce.  If you need your wheel cylinders and master cylinder redone, I would suggest calling Billy at White Post Restorations to have them resleeved.

Sure would like to see some photos of your '40 Plymouth

Replacement knobs are one of the most sought items for the 1940 Plymouth.  Over the years, various individuals have made small batches but at the present time, I am unaware of any reproduction knobs for this car.  The '40 did not use carpet (except on the rear floors of two and four door sedans), they used a brown rubber mat which is being reproduced by one of the Plymouth Club members.  There are no upholstery kits for this car.  If you have old upholstery that can be used for a pattern, Kathy Schrack will duplicate the upholstery for you.  She advertises in the Plymouth Bulletin.

I'm new to the forum and I'm looking for a headlight switch knob and a cowl vent knob in good or better condition.? Also, can someone point me in the right direction for finding correct replacements for interior front mat, carpeting, door and seat upholstery?? My 40 Plymouth has a beige colored interior.? Any help on getting started is appreciated.
