Adjusting brake pedle

Be careful on your adjustment.... If you adjust the rod too long the brakes will lock up as soon as they get warm (typically a couple of miles of driving).

If you haven't found it already, there is a access plate on the floorboard under the brake pedal that you can remove to give you access to this area.  Otherwise, it isn't very difficult to remove the whole front floorboard.  Good luck.

I have a 1941 Plymouth P12 4 door. I want to adjust the amount of free play in my brake pedle. Let me explain, I know how to adjust the pedle? - what I want to know? is how do I get to the M/C to adjust the pedle. I was under my car today and I just can't seem to firgure out how to reach up under the car to adjust the pedle - not unless I had 4 hands? that can bend aound corners.

Please help me.
