Gas Cap replacement

I just looked on the NAPA website and had an idea or question.  A notation on that fuel cap is that it fits US made vehicles.  Was your car made in Canada or made for export?  If so, this might be why you cannot find a cap that fits.  ??????

Andy Bernbaum shows that 1953 & 1954 Chrysler, DeSoto, Dodge & Plymouth take the same cap.  Is this not true ?

Does anyone know where to find an OEM replacement gas cap.  The ones that are recommended do not fit the 1953 Plymouth Cranbrook.  I've tried NAPA, O'Rielly's, and just about every outlet out there and they all recommend the same one and still does not fit.  Suggestions?
