We've been married 35 years, cuz one of us is a saint (we take turns).

When we got married in '73, I had 9 cars of various makes. We would leave the house with a handful of keys; whatever vehicle started, that's the one we drove that day.

I've never rebuilt an engine in the house, but I did rebuild a '59 Jeep master cylinder on the dining room table one winter, when it was too cold to work in the unheated garage.

My younger son's good friend (age 32) has a red '71 Duster with a 340 and a 4 speed. It looks a lot like Mopardave's picture.

I know it was a tough choice.., the car or the pretty Lady.? ?I think you made the right choice because I know she is destine for sainthood to put up with 5 other lovers.? The 1928 Model Q, 1951 Cambridge Club Coupe, 1966 Sport Fury Convertible, 1975 Duster, and the 1999 Prowler.

My wife, Sweet Melissa, has put up with numerous infatuations on my part including a 1972 CL 350 Honda Motorcycle that in the winter of? 1992 I rebuilt the engine on her washing machine because it was the only free work surface we had at the time.? ?During the rebuild the bike was in pieces in the living room.? Of course I laid down a good plastic tarp over the beige carpet.

I should have taken pictures but there was a limited time window before wash day.

also 1972, but my Duster was a '71.  Still married to the same woman......but the car is gone!

I was going thru some old photo albums this morning, came across this old photo taken while I was stationed at Forbes AFB in Topeka, Kansas.

I had gone for a ride on the back dirt roads, came across this building and windmill, thought my Duster would look good with both the building and windmill.  36 years later I still think so.
