I spent two day there this year.  I did get some good deals on parts for my Roadrunner.  The pictures are of a '56 which was in the survivor tent. It was of interest to me because it is the year of the first car I remember that my father owned, and if I rememeber correctly is the same color combo, I was only 3 at the time!  As for the '58, well, the Fury is on my wish list for cars, I'm a fan of the Forward Look cars, and this car is also from CT.   If there are any of you who use Layson's for the '64 and up A-Bodies like I have, well. he got busted on Saturday.  From what information I've seen he was accused of selling Mopar articles wiothout permission from "Ma" Mopar.  The story goes that 4 or 5 police cars entered the grounds going right to his tent, showed their warrents, roped off the area clearing the patrons, then all the employees there were arrested, and some of the merchandise was packed up by police.  I know he's not liked by alot of people for many reasons, but I don't see many others making parts for our '64 and up cars.  It will be interesting to see what develops.

I just checked the website and found out my Prowler took second place.  I was helped by the low turnout.  The customized Prowlers weren't there.

Hum, Sorry to hear about the turn-out.
Got to say, this is the first year in 17 that I decided not to go.
Fuel prices and hotel stays just take a lot of the fun out of the event. Glad to hear that the weather hold out for those that did make it!
I, too remember sitting in long lines to even exit the PA. Turnpike!
Traffic closed one of the Eastbound for a couple of miles a few times! and this as some of you may know, is not even close to the event! or the roads the get you close!

Setting my sites on Fall Hershey. Don't mean to wish away this Summer, but I am already getting the gitters.

yep, went saturday. crowds are off at all these deals. i remember sitting in traffic to get in there years past and crowded swap meet lanes but not this year. good thing for me cause the older i and fatter i get the less i like the crowds. still all in all a great show and so many cars but definitely 90 percent muscle cars. Ive got a couple of those but I like the older stuff and didnt see much of that. I just bought a 60 plymouth  and was looking for those but only found one. anyway it was 150 degrees in the shade but i just loved it. hustled back home only to find it raining. should have stayed. thought there was some reasonable buys there along with the usual "rock star on crack prices". Ive got some nice stuff but  i cant help getting a little jealous when i see all those beautiful cars people have. I want to own em all. that aint      "car crazy" thats "car sick".                                     later

I was there the past two days and I took the Prowler.  Crowd seemed lighter than in past years and the traffic was definitely off.  I drove right in both days between 8-9 a.m.
