I have the one that came in my car. I'll see if I can dig up a camera. It sorta looks like the jack that came with my mom's old dodge ram van. Oddly I don't seem to have a fixture in my bumper to hook it on. I just use a screw jack with a long handle.

Ping, is this for a 1st series P15 Model 1949 or a 2nd series P17-P18 Model 1949?     I would suspect they are the same but don't know that to be the case for sure.    I have photos from a P17-P18 version.

I don't have a photo but i recall what the jacks looked like.Stamped steel foot, a rachetted post about 2 1/2' long -looks like a steel T bar fence post and a stamped jacking mechanism with a handle that looks like  a crowbar that also had a built in socket for wheel bolts.  Barely adequate for a bumper jack

Does anyone out there have an Original bumper jack that came with the 49 Plymouth that you could take a picture of it and send me the picture?.  I have a friend who is looking for one, but wants to make sure its the correct one for his 49.  Thanks   Ping
