powerflite or rear axle noise

Hi ok done that and has cured the original noise so spot on and thanks now to the rear hub noise that must have been caused by me doin somthin wrong !!!

Have you checked your ball and trunion universal?  It may have a bad boot, and no grease inside.

got the old gal moving only she sounds sick!! there is an graunching noise (like bad clutch work on a manual) when i acclerate which goes when i let off the gas returns when i put my foot down. the kickdowns workin and seems to be pullin ok oh and there is oil in the box. The manuals i have give no indication or solution to this noise. I have replaced a seal in the axle prop end and thought i may have done somthing wrong there! the noise sounds mid to rear but hard to really tell as its loud and frightning!!!!!!
any ideas?
