I thought they looked like they might be  etched from the backside. This is good information to know, I'll look into it. Thanks, Lee

The numbers on the dash glass are etched on the back and filled with white paint. Unless your glass is cracked or chipped the numbers can be restored. I had mine done by Scott Young (415-472-5126). He also has a website (www.showcarquality.com). I don't remember for sure but I think I paid $35.00.

I guess I should have used some Endust first. Anyway, here is the gauge cluster. I bought a gauge set on eBay with the glass with better numbers on it. I just need to get it changed.

Here's a picture of the dash in my 41 coupe.  The clock came out of a 41 parts car, but I know it's a P15 clock. Lee

Welcome. I just got my 41 about a mouth ago and I love it. It has 57,000 orginal miles on it and is mostly all there. I have started to collect as much information as possible. Please if you have any inside pictures post them I like to see the dash area.

Thanks

Check out the regional page on this website.  The Tall Pines Region is in your area.  I attended their regional meeting a week ago Sunday in Medford.  Several members from the Twin Cities area were there.  Met at the home of Jack Schultz - who has just restored a '41.  You might want to go take a look at it.

Howdy all, I just joined the board.  I live in St. Paul, Minnesota and let me tell you it is cold.  I own a 41 Plymouth special deluxe, it currently is pretty stock but runs pretty good.  I'm in the Traditionals car club where we like to get things as original as possible.  I hope I can learn something from some of you guys and help some of you out once in a while.
