Thanks for the memories.  My present 40 is a coupe but back in the 60s I had a foor door and that space served well for contraband beer. It was watertight too so ice went in as well!  My interior was not nearly as nice as yours so I think you have made better use of the space.

Let me know when you are going for a spin, I'll follow you!
Let's get rid of this nasty snow first, unless you have room for a couple sets of chains ;D

:) Last week-end I worked on a small prject... I wanted to get ready for this years car shows and thought if I ever needed some tools I would have to find a cleaver way of hiding them in the trunk.. Then I remembered that under the seat is probably the best little tool box one could ask for? so I put together what I thought might come in handy if I need a tool.. (or maybe helping someone else !) here the list I put in that compartment!? 3 plier set,(pliers needle nose snips),1 reg screw driver 1 Philip's . 1 long reach? straight screw driver, one pocket screw driver, 1 vise grip, 1 socket set with ratchet, 1 spark plug socket.,10 piece combo wrenches, fender blanket,12 rags, mopar spark plugs, 1 cotton glove ,1 rubber gloves,1 black elect. tape,1 fuse assortment,1 dist rotor,2 rear tail light bulbs,1 foot air pump,1 6volt battery charger,1fold away lug nut cross,1 fix a flat in a can.. and 1 siccors jack with handle.? ?Wow and after that I still was able to close the seat! I really have room for a few more items ... So if your looking for room and have a 4 door check under the seat, Happy PLY-mouthing DANiel
