47MOPAR

Reg, sorry that I have taken so long to answer your e-mail. Been putting in some long hours rebuilding the front end on the 47. It had been hold up in a barn for the past 12 years and the guy who sold it to me just cleaned it up and posted it for sale at the GoodGuy's meet two weeks ago. Lots of little things to do on it but nothing real big (I hope.) I can usually be found at the Breakfast Club every morning except Sunday, between 0830 and 1000. My buds who you might know, Gary Driscoll, (33 Ford) and Jef Glove, (40 Ford) as you can see I am out numbered. Drop by and have a cup, and you can tell me about Plymouths. I am attaching a photo of my car, tell me what you think

Welcome to the world of Plymouth automobiles.  Your choice of a 47 is a good one as they are easy to work on, parts are plentiful, and there is a very active community of avid P15 fans.
I have a 46 Business Coupe as seen in the avitar.

May I also recommend the site at;

www.p15-d24.com.

This site is dedicated to information and resources for the owners of 1946 through early 1949 Plymouths and Dodges.  It has much information, and a lively forum.  The sie is also friendly to just about anybody with a MOPAR Flathead 6 or straight 8 and has participants from around the world.

You have a MOPAR neigbor in Grass Valley who has quite a collection of 40's and 50's MOPAR  cars and truck.  I suggest you check out the site for helpful information on your car, and then introduce yourself on that forum also.

Again welcome to your and your car, enjoy this site.  Happy Motoring.

47MOPAR

Hello, Just found the club and thought I would join as I just became the proud owner of a 1947 Plymouth Coupe. I have wanted one for a long time. It's not stock, but it's not blown either, it is a driver. If your ever in the Grass Valley, Nevada City, CA, area and see a red 47 coupe with a plate of 47MOPAR, it's me, stop and say hello.

PS. Have photo but KB size to big for site.
