I believe that Ed Gross a member of the forum at P15 - D24 makes up (for a slight fee) facsimile price sheets using old mopar artwork etc.   You suppy what you know about your car, and he does it up.

You can probably cut and paste on up for yourself on any of the variuos desktop publishing soft ware or even basic word processors with a line drawing feature.

I remember that my Dad who was aDodge/Plymouth dealer in the 40s and 50s would type up a little card on the ol Underwood and tape it to the vent wing

Window stickers came into being with the 1959 models in late '58.  No such thing as a window sticker in 1940.

This is just a guess, nothing more, but I believe if you bought a new car in 1940, you would get an invoice, or bill of sale, describing the make and model and serial number of the vehicle, possibly the accessories would be itemized, and a brief description of any trade-in.

It would probably have separate numbers for the price of the new car, the prices of accessories; the value of the trade-in (if any) would be deducted from the total of the new car plus accessories (that would be the "bottom line").

Pictures of these invoices show up from time to time in various car club magazines.

The idea of stickers stating the options and prices did not come about until 1958 in the U.S., I believe.? ?Before that there were no federal laws stating that prices must be posted on the car.
