Hi Pete and Robert, Mr B and Mr 57 P..................Yep, reckon i'm in good company around here.? At the Tulsa car show on Saturday, the gentleman taking pictures and getting some other info on the convert was Jim Benjaminson, a moderator here.? I did not realize who he was at the time.? I'm bad about not getting names, but did enjoy talking with him and hearing what he had
to say.? I know he has been involved with the hobby for lots of years.? ?And some other POC members I visited with were
friendly and helpful.? ?

So Joseph calls it a "bug blender" eh???? Pretty cute.? Never thought of that name.? Got that thing back in probably the '70s
somewhere in my travels.? Have no idea when or where, but you don't see very many like it now.? That propeller spins pretty good.

Hi Bob.  Not often I get on this board but I see that there are quite a few P15 D24 members on it. I also prefer the format of the other forum but as people have said there are some very knowledgeable people here and some great information.

The Tulsa thing is a mystery to me.  ForwardLook.net is still talking about it nearly daily, but it has not been in the POC bulletin yet.  Heck, this board moves so slow that I get excited just to see one post on anything in a day!!

By the way, nice bug blender!!  I would like to see more photos of that.

I'm surprized you haven't posted here before now...  I pop in here once and a while and see what activity has transpired.  Unfortunately, there's not much going on 'round here.  :-\  Surprising considering the number of POC members.  Hardly any talk of the Tulsa event and other major events.  Why?

Posting pictures here is the same as posting pictures on the P-15, D-24 site. Simply copy all the information in the "IMG CODE" box below the picture in your Photobucket album. Then paste the information in the body of your message. I lifted this picture from your bucket album. Your vert is nice but personally I like the blue P-15 better. You must like it too as you cant stop turning around to look at it.

Aktivity is less here than on the P15 D24 Board because this site broke down 2 times. So we lost a lot of attendance.
Since new admin Mark Olson does (against lots of difficulties than), it works much better than the 2 earlier boards.
I give a look nearly every day at 5:30 AM before waking my wife and preparing breakfast. Day is much longer when using the quiet early morning hours for Hobbys!

Above the last entry of any post You find the icon ?reply?.
It brings You to the reply window, where You find ?Additional options? at the bottom.
Now two rows open to put Your picture?s file link in.  Usually 150-200 KB size will be accepted. The comment under the link- rows says ?maximum attachment size allowed: 1300 KB?. If Your?s are too big, You must reduce them, maybe as follows:

If You open Your file with Photo Studio, You can choose "size of picture" (?? /have the german version "Bildgr??e") and than give in e.g. 50%, (save as "temp" )- this will reduce the file size reasonably.

POC admin Mark Olson suggests: ?All posted photos on the web look fine at 72 dots per inch.  It is the way all monitors display things - higher resolution is fine for printing - in fact you need 200-300 dots per inch to get a good print out.  Most stuff posted on the web can't be printed unless it has a linked high resolution photo you can click on to print.?

If You have a scanner, do as I did not knowing the secrets of  grafic and digitals:
scan a print with 100 dpi or even at black and white, so at least we get an impression of Your car.

Hey Bob, there are a number of us in here who go back and forth from P15-D24 to here.  I have not figured out how to post pics in here as of yet either, this site is not nearly as active as the other.  I have two 54's both Belvederes and 4 doors, I have a spare power flight trans you can have, if yours is no good or needs parts, only trouble is the distance between us I am in so. cal.

Hi.? Bob Toft of Joplin, Missouri.? Have a yellow 1947 Plymouth convertible.? Some of you may have seen it in Tulsa in June at the
exhumation of Miss Belvidere.? Was nice meeting a few fellow Plymouth fans there.? Age 64, married, work on staff of a State Farm
insurance agency.? Car is mostly kinda, sorta original and stock.? Has a 1957 flathead 6, still 6 volt, box seat covers, 1967 Ford Springtime Yellow exterior.? Original glass.? A good 15 footer......nowhere near perfection, but looks pretty good.......pretty much in the daily driver category.? ?Have owned it since 1973.  Also, about a month ago, bought a 54 Plym Savoy four door....not running since '93.? Engine is sticking for now......trying to get it to turn over.?

I usually participate in the P15-D24 forum.? But it's also nice to make additional acquaintences in the old Plymouth field.? Not a member of the POC, at least not yet.
