Doesn't matter if it is stock or not, it looks great, not to mention the body isn't sitting in a junk yard becoming a rusted hulk of metal.

Thanks for sharing,

Surely, someone else must have a photo or two of their car to post here.
We don't want this thread to be "lost" three or four pages down.

Cliff54, Nice job! I'm not sure that car needs a bottle of Viagra... Unless you are going to run it against a car with a Big V8! My 55 Plymouth had a 6 cylinder and plenty of pep.

;D    hey everybody take a look at my gas tank...................

Two cars I have qualify for the Plymouth Owners club. One is a '53 Plymouth and the other is a Plymouth based Canadian Dodge D25. I also have a 1938 Chrysler.

Well, after an off again, on again relationship with the POC, I just rejoined, hopefully for a while, this time. (!) I've been side tracked with Model A F#r** for several years. (Decades??) Finally back to my senses, and back "home" with Plymouths. My last was a PB coupe in the mid seventies. You may have read about it a couple years ago in The Bulletin. Before that I had a PJ when I was still in Chicago. That car was in The Sting, so you get an idea how old I am? :D

Anyway, I just got the PC rumble seat coupe that was on the club Website a while back. The car came out of NY, and before that, MO. It was bought in the early 90's by a guy named Jack Paterson. Jack told me it was "all original" when he got it, original paint, motor, and interior. He had it as a driver for several years, and painted it along with new upholstery along the way. He repaired it as needed, but the motor appears to be the original, and the body doesn't look to have been off the frame. There is a small amount of rust through, but the car presents as a very nice "old car" in "driver shape," and that is what I am intending to use it as. I was out today with a couple of Model A's and we put on about 60 miles. The old coupe loved it, and never missed a lick.

The car hasn't stayed still long enough for me to wash it and get some decent pics. Here are a couple from the first day, and I will attempt to do a more complete write up and send all of that to Mark for the "Members Rides Section." Long live the POC!! GA

Now that the driving season is upon us again, I figured it was time to reactivate this topic to see if we could get more photos of member's cars added to the member's ride section by sending the photos to Mark.

Jack, I still have the pictures of your truck that you sent to me. It is a beautiful piece of art.
I still have my hotrod 39 but it has been sitting in the garage up on the lift for the past year.
We still drive my wife's 63 Dodge Dart Convert fairly often.
My intrest have sorta changed and I am back on a motorcycle after about 15 years, and loving it. My brother, brother-in-law and two of our life long friends went on a 1800 mile ride a few weeks ago, all the way around the Grand Canyon. Anyway nuff bout me. I do love your PT81.

PS I still have a few parts left on the other trucks, a fellow in AZ. bought a lot of my stuff and restored what is now a beautiful 1940.

I second Bender's comment.
By the looks of the car in the photos you have a very solid Plymouth.  Drive it and enjoy it at the same time keeping on eye on the brakes and other saftey areas.

These cars are meant to be driven:):)

My thoughts,

First thing I did was get up and crank that big 426 in 15 degree weather, a challenge to say the least.? Finally got it going, had the car inspected, and got my first quote on full resto.? Shocking $$ amount.? Maybe Santa will bring a blank check.

If it is in good condition and original, why restore it? Not everything has to be restored. Just do what you have to do to preserve it,and then drive and enjoy it.

I can't quite figure out how to get my photos the right size to post but I believe I did get a pdf to post.  I just received my dream car yesterday.  1965 Plymouth Sport Fury Convert w/ 426 and 4 speed manual trans.  I understand from the prev owner that Govier decoded this car to show that it is #3 of 4 total cars with the 426 and 4-speed w/ the convert top.  My Dad had one same color new in 65 but sold it when I was born.  His had the 383 and auto trans.  Can't wait for the temp in VA to warm up a little so I can lower that top.  Made some short drives today but it's a chore to warm that big engine up to get going.  She runs like a top when she's warm though.  Happy motoring everyone.  Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.

Bob-

Nice Sport Fury.

That's the same view most drivers see of my '36, but in my case, it's while they're passing me :)
