Go over to the P15 D24 forum and search ferrule.  one of he members made one out of a nylon fitting from the hardware store.

Anybody know about that ferrule that sits in the connection between the gas tank and the fuel line.? I disconnected mine to clean out tank, and someone mentioned that there is a small brass ferrule that sits in there and can be easily lost.

My gas tank had a standard tubing fitting.  Probably updated years ago.  If you didn't find this little piece you may not need it.  It looks like a small tube about 1/4" with a taper on both ends.
