1929 U - Question

Sounds like a question for the Plymouth Owners Club's technical advisor for that era car. In 1933 the exterior brightwork was chrome while the interior brightwork was nickel. I suspect it was that way for a number of years before and after but can't be sure.

1929 U Question ?

Did these early Plymouths use a Nickle Plating on the exterior parts or is chrome OK. 
For some reason I am thinking Nickle.  My palter can do either.
