I have a 1930 model 30U with the same light lever broken. Looking for someone who has made the part either the actual lever piece or the whole assemble with the light control tube.

The 28Q and 29U had the same hand throttle and light switch on the steering wheel.  The entire assemblies are called throttle control tube and light control tube according to the 1934 Master Parts List.  The 30U has a different part number.  The ones on my 30U oval window were longer and did not appear to be made of pot metal like the 28/29.  For anyone with a 29U Deluxe Sedan, an entirely differently part number is listed for this model!

Great going John, you are quick. Congrates.  Get ready to cast some more, people are going to want one of those. How about he headlight switch, is the 30 model the same as the 29 model.  I have broken both of mine, but repaired them as best I could so they are OK for now, for how long I don't know.

Yes the light switch can be made in the same way, as far as I know the 29 model is the same, they stopped using the speed control lever for the 32 models.

Took the broken part off today, not a simple job as you have to undo the pinch nut that holds the light switch on at the bottom of the steering column, Not easy to get to.
The lever is made of Diecast alloy and it had gone very brittle.   I stuck the lever together, made a sand cast of it and cast it in some scrap aluminium that I had. After cleaning it up and polishing it I fitted it and it is now better than new and will not brake again. ;D
