Nice job!
It always does my heart good to see a treasure like that brought back to life. It's also nice to know that it's intended to be driven and enjoyed.
Have fun.

I started and finished this little project after 4 years almost to the date. The project included replacing approx 50% of the wood frames and all of the panels (both interior and exterior), all wood bleached Rms varnished, new front floors, rebuilt brake system (drums, lines and master), repainted dash and interior windshield frame, to match original, rear springs rebuilt, gas tank re-lined and new fuel lines, elect fuel pump, rebuilt flat 6 engine with new duel exhaust manifold and Offy intake with duel progressive carbs, new duel exhaust to single muffler/tailpipe, new headliner, new paint inside (seat frames, floor) and out with color change, all new rubber, replaced several missing windows, change to 12v system, gutted radio and modified to operate a Bluetooth amplifier (completely hidden), repainted steering wheel, all old undercoating removed and replaced, repaired and saved most of the original rubber floor mats and door sills, salvaged and made like new fold down rear bumper (only available on 1949), every piece of chrome re-plated, custom made to match original chrome exterior dome nuts, all gauges and clock refurbished, wheel bearings, seals, pinion seal, steering seal replaced, radiator boiled and serviced, new tie rod ends, learned to pinstripe wheels .... now that I’m writing it all down for the 1st time, I see where the time went 😉
