Title: Scenes From Goodguys, one wagon for sale.
Post by: jd2ksilver on March 25, 2007, 03:26:30 PM
Went to Goodguys yesterday, spent most of my time in the flea market and car corral.?

Ran across a really nice 51 or 52 Plymouth Bus Coupe (I think its called).? Car's body mostly stock except for the Frenched antenna.

Wagon,

And one for sale, very cheap with 100 mile delivery included for gas cost only.? But it needs tons of work, I mean every inch.? But if I had room for it I would have bought it.

Then found my Prowler I sold almost two years ago.? The new owner has kept it up very nice.? Adding a bit of chrome to the engine bay.

The red Coupe with the sunvisor should be 52, the 51 have plastic latters for the Plymouth sign, the 52 only embossed and painted. Missing emblem shoud have been circular instead of the polygonal 51.
The bumper has no horns, was that a business coupe speciality?  In the books of Benji, Tad Burness, and John Gunnell, - as on the ads I have (mostly 1951)-  is no foto without the horns. Maybe the three passenger coupe was different to business coupe which had to be as simple and cheap as possible. Greetings! Go
