Title: 40 Plymouth Coupe
Post by: Don St Peter on January 09, 2007, 11:00:19 PM
I am on finishing touches of my interior and cannot determine if there is supposed to be something like a "threshold" along the floor that fits against the door bottom when closed. Can someone shed some light on this?
Thanks in Advance
Don

Don - there was an aluminum sill plate there.

Good luck finding those sill plates.  I've only seen a set on eBay that fit a 4-door, that is all.  Where would you find them?  If you find a source let everyone know.  I could provide a pattern if someone would like to make them.

There is a man in New Jersey that might make the sill plates for the '40 Plymouth coupes as long as Ken has the template.
I talked to him this past fall, but I can't find his phone number right now.

Seems to me that I got his phone number from someone on the POC site.

Not much help,
Bob

Thanks for the response. RC, if you come across the guy in NJ's name/number please remember me.
Thanks
