Title: Idles too fast

Hi..once again..you people are really great!!..I need some more advice
My '39...idles way too fast..I have the linkage 'out'..all the way..meaning that the rod that controlls the linkage is adjusted all the way out...any thoughts???Thanks,Dennis

Dennis, have you checked your vacume advance set up.  I had the same problem starting my 39, and it was because the person who sold me the engine had removed that aparatus.  What model of 39 do you have?  Gary
