Title: 38 ply coupe runningboards
Post by: streamers on December 19, 2005, 06:54:21 PM
hi I'm a new member, I've owned my coupe since 74.  It sat in my garage for most of that time.  I'm starting to restore it now and am looking for runningboards.  If anyone can help I'd appreciate it

Contact ....Paul Bowling,  Buckeye Rubber Products..... 8398 National Rd. Brookville, OH 453-9606   (937) 833-2885)

Paul makes NEW steel replacement running boards to which he vulconizes new rubber covers that are almost an exact match for the original boards.
I purchased a set from him for my 39 Plym Conv. (37,38 & 39 use the same boards) the fit and finish was PERFECT. The price was $550. plus shipping, I could have saved fifty bucks by cleaning, straightening and repairing my old ones, but by the time I did this and shipped them to Paul it would have cost me more money and time plus I would still have old steel shells that had outlived their usefulness.....Bill
