Title: Repainting of 1933 PD Instrument Cluster
Post by: 33plycoupe on October 25, 2006, 08:52:17 PM
I am going to have to redo the gold paint on my 1933 PD coupe instrument cluster. Does anyone know of a matching color/brand? Also, are the circular instrument pieces (gasoline/amperes, speedometer, and water/oil) decals? If so, what is the best method of covering them to avoid damage from the paint and any adhesives in the covering material? All three are in excellent condition. I just need to redo the gold paint. Thanks in advance for any assistance provided.
Robert

I'd suggest you talk to Scott Young, who advertises in the Plymouth Bulletin and does dash instruments.  He might have suggestions.  Or try to locate a better panel - these come up on eBay quite regularly.
