I thought I had two good PE lenses but in reality I only have one.? The one I was mistaken about is also a Tiltray Guide with the DPCD logo at the top, but it has a 8 5/8" diameter with about 2 1/16" of convexity, unlike the PE lens which measures 8 3/8" top to bottom and 8 1/4" left to right, with about 1 7/8" of convexity.? I'm not sure convexity is a word, but you know what I mean.? I'll begin a search for the needed PE lens.? Does anyone know what the other lens might fit?? ?
I found the part number on the mystery lens. It is 918278. It's for a MOPAR as the lens has the DPCD logo. Let me know if anyone has an idea what it will fit?

I've located a guy that has "Lenex Headlamp Lenses" for '34 Plymouth PE. I'm restoring my car to original. Does anyone know anything about these Lenex Lenses? I believe the "TiltRay Guide" was original equipment. Could the Lenex have been an after market replacement or an alternative original?

We have a couple of spare PE lenses put away in our storage here. I can't remember, off hand, what they are marked, but TiltRay sounds right.
I don't know about the 'Lenex' lenses, but it would seem reasonable that they could be a replacement part. I can just vaguely remember seeing displays of replacement glass tail lamp lenses for many different makes/years of cars, back in the '60's, and its likely that the parts houses kept similar kits of head lamp lenses a few years before that.
We'd trade our spare lenses and a pair of new-old-stock reflectors we found on the ebay for a set of headlamp assemblies with a best quality sealed-beam conversion setup, if anyone's interested.
Since our '34 will be an everyday use car when its on the road, I'd rather have good lighting than exact originality, but, of course, I intend to keep the 'exactly original' parts so that the car can be put back to exactly original in future sometime if desired.

Sealed Beams were in my PE for years. We have gone back to lenses and reflectors, but we're still short one TiltRay lens. I don't know where the sealed beam kit came from, but it was many years ago. If it was ever best quality, it certainly isn't now. I'll gather together the conversion kit parts to see if they're all present and servicable. Perhaps its something you could use.
I'll check for carb parts also.
