Title: 1980 Plymouth Horizon
Post by: Plymouthcranbrook on September 10, 2006, 02:39:50 AM
Does anyone have any idea about what a 1980 Plymouth Horizon is worth?? Has 103,000 miles on it and is a base car with automatic, no air. Not real rusty and has new brakes and radiator and most hoses replaced.? A friend has asked me to help get a price and the Auction sites and ebay have no information. Seems to run well and was used regularly until about 3 years ago.Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like about $250 - $500 if it runs - a "Little Rusty" on most early FWD cars means - A Lot Rusty!

The Volkswagon engine is ok but it will need a head gasket and other work before I would use it.  Not a real valuable car unless it was excetionaly clean and low mileage.

They are not considered collectable by anyone except a DIE-HARD Plymouth lover.

My opinion.

Thanks Mark, your thoughts are kind of along the lines of mine.  He really just wants to be rid of it.  I'll pass your thoughts along to him.
