? Great to see this forum up and running again. I've gotten my P10 sedan back on the road after 20 years of being in pieces. I haven't been able to find the front hood hinge bracket in my parts. This is the bracket that bolts to the center of the radiator support frame, and attaches to the front of the center hood hinge. There is no interchange between other years, or models of the mopar family, 1940 plymouth only.
Anyone have an extra bracket, or any leads on where one may be. If I can't find one, I'll try to fabricate something, but would rather have the correct part.
Lesson learned: Have a good, long term, parts storage plan in place before doing a tear down. Most projects take much longer than planned, and a good storage plan will save many hours of searching for something when needed.

There's a person in Snohomish, WA parting out a '40. He has several parts listed on eBay. You might try contacting him. One of his items is listed under eBay #4596166986.

Thanks, Jim. I emailed him already and he dosen't have that bracket.

Dave,
Give Moore's Salvage in Rapid City,SD a call
at 605-348-4926
They have a website also, but at this point I don't remember the address
I have a 1940 Plymouth P-10 Business coupe
Good luck,
Bob
Thanks Bob, I emailed them today. They have 5 '40 plymouths in stock, so maybe the bracket I'm looking for is on one of them.

Moore's salvage dosen't have the front hood hinge hold down bracket either, so I'll continue looking. Thanks for the leads.

I have also dealt with Easy Jack's in Kansas, Again I don't have a web site for them plus I can't find their mailing address, but I have gotten parts for my 1940 Plymouth from them.
Another place to try is G and G MOPARS
