Title: Turn Signal Conversion Kit Question
Post by: johnRFain29U on August 22, 2006, 11:28:37 PM
Has anyone tried a turn signal conversion kit from
Turn Signals For Classics
P.O Box 10743
White Bear Lake, MN 55110

They offer a kit for 6 volt systems.

John,

I recently ordered and installed a turn signal light kit from a guy who advertises in
Hemmings Motor News.  There was also a photo showing what turn signal switches
he sold.  I think that he offered them in either 6 or 12 volt.  They come with the
"pigtails" and a flasher.  But, I do not know what style signal switch you are looking for.

I ordered the one advertised in Hemmings in 6 volts.  Works good-looks sort of hokey tho.  I wired the front to the parking lites-needed to run an extra wire.  I still stick my arm out the window since i am usually going slower than everyone else

John, You might want to check out the set-ups available from--- www.turnswitch.com/Turnsignal.htm,
or www.logolites.com/index.htm.

I ordered a kit from White Bear Lake, and found it pretty complicated. These others are easy to install. Good luck!
