Title: Where will I

Where will I be able to find replacement parts once Daimler-Chrsyler stops making the parts for my 2000 Breeze?  I live in the San Fernando Valley in California.

Most parts should be available for at least five - ten years.  Brake parts, and other Safety parts should be avaialble for 15 to 20 years.  After that, you will have to hope for good used parts or if the Breeze is popular enough (like the Cuda) aftermarket parts manufacturer's will make some stuff.

The fact is - all cars even if the company still makes the name - Like Dodge - are in the same boat.  They don't make them any longer for non-orphaned cars than orphans like all Plymouths are.  Most companies figure 10-15 years - 80 percent of the cars are gone to become other cars or tin cans.

If you want to keep you Breeze for more than 20 years - you will have to do the same thing every old car owner does - become creative in finding parts.

Don't loose any sleep over it.  ;)

The plymouth Breeze was a rebadged (re stickered) Dodge Stratus.  The Stratus is still being produced, many of the mechanical parts are identical.  Current engines are probably different, and the bosies have changed some but brakes, CV joints, suspension stuff is likely interchangable.  The stratus both predated and post dated Plymouth's Breeze label.
