Plymouth Owners Club

My dad and I have a 35 Plymouth PJ. He's owned it 47 years now and we just redid it.  When he bought it from the original owner, it was gunmetal light poly with two green pin stripes painted down the side and two stripes on each wheel.  The car has been repainted and now we need to make a decision on the stripes.  1935 specs indicate the sides had three stripes and there was no green.  1936 indicated gunmetal gray still was a color and it was accented with Spring Green #2 pin stripes, but I have no idea if a '36 had two or three stripes on it.

Can anyone tell me how many pin stripes went on a 1936 Plymouth--was it two or three?   

Here's my guess: our car was one of the last 30,000 built before the '36 models started rolling out.  There are a handful of small aspects here and there on our car that fit the '36 specs over a 35.  If 36 Plymouths had two pin stripes instead of 3, is it possible this change was applied early?  We all know changes were frequent and rarely documented on old Plymouths.  Theory two is that the original owner bought his PJ, saw a 36 with green stripes, liked them, and took his car to the dealer to have it added.
