Title: 40 plymouth numbers question
Post by: actionrog on August 05, 2006, 02:39:07 PM
Hi I'm new here,
I'm trying to find out where exactly on the frame rail the engine # should be.
a detailed description (I saw the genral description of, on the frame rail near
the kickup on the drivers side)and or pics would be great. also I was wondering
if these cars had a chassis # if so where it would be?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

The serial (chassis) number should be on the right side of the chassis frame, just to the rear of the front axle.? A fellow with a 1940 Chrysler found his on the top side of the chassis frame just to the rear of the front axle.?
