Title: Updated forum
Post by: The Other Dr. Z on July 25, 2025, 10:59:57 AM
I updated the forum software today. SMF is updated pretty rarely these days but supposedly the next version is still under way; it's good to see a maintenance-and-security update!

There was a great turnout of Plymouths and other classic Mopars at the Chrysler 100 event this year. It was great to meet a couple of POC people I've only corresponded with before. I have a few pics and a brief writeup on my web site (ttps://www.motales.com/stories-other/shows/carlisle-101.php).

I think current Stellantis news (https://www.motales.com/now/) shows that they really needed to keep Plymouth!

Anyway, mainly posted to say the forum software's been updated, so let me know if anything is wonky. If everything works fine for a few days, I'll update our version of php, the underlying software that runs the site, to add a little performance.

Thank you!!

We should have some speed boost now from the newer version of PHP. Everything seems to be working well. I must have done something a while back because I'm not showing any errors or problems.

Because they are waiting until your back is turned before showing up. :)
